Project: Small Satellite Deployable Booms

Team Abstract: REACH's deployable boom system provides increased confidence in rigid, controlled payload deployment with an innovative optics attitude determination system . With the use of a reinforced, collapsible, carbon-fiber tape design and a gear linkage system, REACH ensures that all CubeSat critical volume and mass requirements are met to provide a noise-free environment for science data collection in LEO.
