Her committee was comprised of Professor Carla Jones (advisor), Professor Alison Cool, Professor Emily Hue (University of California, Riverside), Professor Carole McGranahan, and Professor Karen Strassler (City University of New York). They enthusiastically approved her plans for dissertation research on the socio-digital world of diasporic activism following the 2021 military coup in Myanmar.Ìý
