Anthropology Clubs Visits the Manitou Springs Cliff Dwellings

ÌýExploring the Past: Anthropology Club's Adventure to Manitou Springs Cliff Dwellings Museum! The Manitou Cliff Dwellings, originally situated near McElmo Canyon in southwest Colorado, consisting of 40 rooms, were relocated between 1904 and 1907 to their current location. The move aimed to safeguard the Ancestral Puebloan architecture from looters and relic pot-hunters, ultimately opening the preserved site as a museum to the public in 1907.
