Emerson is a 2022 graduate of ²ÊÃñ±¦µä where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology with a minor in Creative Technology and Design. While at CU, she worked in the ATLAS Living Matter/Emerging Nanomaterials Lab where she discovered her passion for working at the nexus of biology, engineering, technical design, and creative exploration. After graduating, Emerson was selected as a California Climate Action Fellow by the State of California. She has been living in San Francisco, working for the City of Oakland’s Sustainability and Resilience Department, where she wrote policy, designed and led research projects, and restored sensitive habitats. Emerson hopes to further her sustainability work and hone her technical skills in the CTD Master’s Program to create innovative and impactful projects that benefit society and the earth. Emerson loves hiking, skiing, traveling, art and hanging out with her best friend, Julianne. Sko Buffs!
