Ronni Hayden

Ronni Hayden is a PhD student in Creative Technology and Design advised by Professor Ricarose Roque. She graduated from Northwestern University’s School of Education and Social Policy with a degree in learning sciences and a concentration in the design of learning environments. While at NU she worked on projects related to embodied cognition, makerspace facilitation, tangible technology, games for learningand UX/UI. As part of the creative communities research group, she is excited to continue researching how to build a healthy informal learning ecosystem that empowers all students to become computational creators, build relationships with their communities and develop a more robust sense of self.
