      1. Asian Studies Graduate Association “2022 CU Asian Studies Graduate Association (CUBASGA) Conference,” February 19th–20th, 2022, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM via Zoom

        1. Advertising

          1. Not the type of event to be advertised

        2. Logistics

          1. 1st day attendance - 43

          2. 2nd day attendance - 30

        3. Content

          1. Taylor learned some things!

          2. Female homoerotism and scents in some era of Chinese history.

            1. Very academic

          1. Did really well with timing

          2. Used GatherTown for lunch

      2. Middle Eastern Student Association, “Middle East Night,” February 19th, 2022, 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM in the Rec Center

        1. Advertising

          1. Honestly kinda lacking, I think they could have started sooner and postered moreso

          2. Social media was pretty good

          3. Maybe more physical advertising (postering, tabling)

        2. Logistics

          1. 200-300 people

          2. Logistics were kinda rough

            1. The show started an hour later 

            2. Sound and projections were being played with and figured out during the event

          3. Food was distributed well! Just the right amount ordered too

            1. Long line for food

            2. Members paid out of pocket for the food, so I am hoping we could get that figured out ASAP

          4. Setup was really nice overall

          5. Sound issues happened during the event

          6. Did they do a dress rehearsal?

          7. Event probably ended around 9-10

        3. Content

          1. The performances were fun

            1. There was also a cool documentary shown which I loved

          2. Fashion show was really cool!

          3. The comedian was also great!!

            1. He also needs to be paid, not sure if that has been figured out

            2. Jemil is helping them receive their funds

          4. Tabling also added a lot to the event overall

          5. Non Middle-Eastern students did not feel alienated

          1. Contact your liaison if you are confused about spending your funds

          2. Improve on marketing 

            1. Have a more solid run of day figured out

            2. Test sound and visuals beforehand

      1. Advertising was approved. They still have some questions. 

        1. Question about masks was answered.

        2. Transportation question isn’t needed anymore. 

        3. Question about food. 

          1. “Giorgia was asking for accommodations for food as well, and I wanted to ask how we are able to prepare that for them? I think also just having that knowledge, in general, to pass onto the 2nd separate headliner/agency would be helpful!”

      1. Had funding meeting today. They might be changing things around with food and finding a speaker, but they know they have to have all of this go through us first. 

      2. Did not think that the food budget is not enough to buy anything.
