The production took place in the University Mainstage for a total of eight performances where close to 1,000 people saw the show.

HECUBA was presented by Euripides as part of our Department of Theatre & Dance mainstage season. The preparation process for HECUBA included the June workshop series and initial reading of the script with the translator, the mask creation and training process, creating of original music with live musicians onstage, and the continued collaboration of creating the story TOGETHER in the seven week rehearsal process and two-week run of the show.  The students and faculty were engaged in the process together every step of the way. Overall, it was a very rich process that yielded much for our department and students. Diane Rayor was present in the rehearsal process for 12 rehearsals to work on the script.
