NSI Joins the U.S. Cyber Command’s (CYBERCOM) Academic Engagement Network (AEN)
In July 2023, ²ÊÃñ±¦µä’s National Security Initiatives (NSI), on behalf of ²ÊÃñ±¦µä, submitted for membership in U.S. Cyber Command’s (CYBERCOM) Academic Engagement Network (AEN). CYBERCOM established the AEN in 2022 to strengthen relationships and communication with participating institutions and improve efforts to meet cyberspace educational demands and workforce development needs. The AEN also places an emphasis on several functional areas including applied cyber research, applied analytics, and a broad range of related strategic issues which align closely with the university's broader objectives. The partnership is intended to further expand CU's Cybersecurity & RF Engineering research cohorts in the national security space and develop increased collaboration opportunities with CYBERCOM.
