About
The Committee on the History and Philosophy of Science at the University of Colorado, Boulder seeks to bring together scholars from the sciences and the humanities in order to promote cross-disciplinary communication to facilitate work done in both areas. The Committee sponsors inter-departmental meetings within the university, invites distinguished speakers from other institutions, and holds an annual conference attended by regional, national and international scholars.
The Committee on the History and Philosophy of Science at University of Colorado at Boulder is co-sponsored by the University of Colorado College of Arts and Sciences, the Center for the Humanities and the Arts, the Museum of Natural History, and by the following University of Colorado Departments: Anthropology, Chemistry and Biochemistry, Geological Sciences; History; Mathematics; Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology; Philosophy; and Physics.
