Dani R. Soibelman (M.A., University of Texas at Austin) is a PhD Candidate in Organizational Communication. Soibelman鈥檚 research revolves around the organizational functions of state governments. With special attention to Texas higher education policy, Dani explores how state-level lawmakers communicate with stakeholders in universities and the broader public; this includes but is not limited to legislative texts, public hearings, and social media presence. Dani is also interested in how constituents communicate back to their legislators and organize to have their voices heard. Soibelman鈥檚 favorite course to teach is Public Speaking.
