Shahzad (Shah) Bhatti is a senior instructorÌýwho joined the Department of Information Science at the ²ÊÃñ±¦µä in fallÌý2022. He strives for excellence in teaching and is interested in quantitative reasoning, computational system and machine learning, which lie at the intersection of technology and business/personal decision making.ÌýÌý

Shah has over twenty-fiveÌýyears of experience in industry at companies such as NCR, StorageTek, HP and Samsung. He has hands on development experience in embedded software systems and multi-tier web-based solution. For the last tenÌýyears, he has been teaching computer science. He was an assistant professor of computer science at FAST-NUCES, a full time faculty member in computer science at Front Range Community College and a part-time adjunct professor in ICT as the University of Denver.Ìý

Shah’s graduate work focused on wireless sensor networks. He earned a MS in computer science (MSCS) at the ²ÊÃñ±¦µä. He was also a candidate for a PhD in computer science, but did not complete his dissertation, so remains ABD. Shah earned an MBA from the University of ColoradoÌýBoulder. He earned a MSÌýin computer engineering (MSCE) from the National Technological University (NTU).
