Celebrating the Class of 2021

What does it mean to graduate as a CMCI and 񱦵 Buff? For alumnus Gerardo Ortiz (Advert'10) it means letting your mind roam into uncharted territories, while remaining close with a herd of collaborators and mentors who can support and encourage you along the way. Today, Oritz is the creative director at Uninterrupted, founded by Maverick Carter and LeBron James.

Latest Alumni News

Rick Taylor (Jour'70) lives with his wife, Patti Jordan Taylor (Engl’70), in Olympia, Washington. After graduating from 񱦵, he served 27 years in the U.S. Army as both a signal and public affairs officer. Later, he produced and wrote films, videos, radio and TV stories before retiring to teach high school. He then freelanced for regional and international boating magazines and penned a column for the local paper. His first novel came out last fall.

The Master of Arts in Corporate Communication is CMCI’s newest online graduate program designed for working professionals in corporate communication and related disciplines. Its coursework blends conceptual knowledge and practical techniques to produce invaluable and nimble communicators regardless of the industry or sector in which they work.

The program is currently accepting students for Fall 2021.

Collective Effort

Throughout her youth as an athlete, Berkley Gamble (Comm’16) wore her soccer uniform with pride. It showed people what she cared about and stood for: determination, sportsmanship and teamwork. Today, Gamble’s self-expression is rooted in a different type of clothing: her brand Past Life the Collective, “a sustainable, small-batch label for those who speak the truth, walk their own path and raise hell.”
