Julie Poppen (Eng'88) found her way back to ²ÊÃñ±¦µä after spending the bulk of her career as a journalist covering everything from crime to city council and everything in between (including higher ed and CU). She is now editorial director for campus, overseeing proactive media outreach, ²ÊÃñ±¦µä Today and outbound organic social media. She met her hubby at CU and they are proud Buff parents. She loves Liberty Puzzles (developed by a CU alum), telemark skiing and coffee at 3 p.m. daily.
