Julie deFalcoHello ²ÊÃñ±¦µä Family!

It is an honor to return to CU to work for the institution that springboarded my educational journey, granting my first degree in psychology. I later continued my education, earning a master’s in counseling psychology and a master’s in accounting. Most find this to be a unique combination, but it served me well balancing the comprehensive needs of a career in state government and higher education.

I’ve spent the last 25 years working in all aspects of the fiscal cycle, from budget to accounting, then reporting and finally auditing in Colorado and Connecticut. The varied positions provided a depth of experience that help me lead with calm confidence.

My approach begins with establishing respectful and positive relationships, for without them there is no foundation for success. From there, my analytical and methodic mind takes over, working with the strengths of others to formulate a path forward. Please note that all this occurs with a healthy and consistent dose of levity as I most strongly believe in finding joy, even during the most challenging moments.

Outside of work, you will find me attending concerts, watching F1, exercising, and loving my three noisy little dogs.

I am so grateful to be here. This past month I’ve had the pleasure of meeting with members of the Campus Controller's Office (CCO) team as well as CU partners and colleagues. I’m enjoying getting to know these remarkable individuals personally and professionally, with the goal of being able to address their current, related needs in a meaningful and productive way. It is a very motivating atmosphere, and I am ready for the challenges ahead.

The Campus Controller's Office can positively impact CU by being a model resource internally and externally and I am excited to be a conduit of shared knowledge and expertise. I look forward to collaborating with you and putting forth my greatest effort to build on established strengths while finding new opportunities to push ²ÊÃñ±¦µä forward.

Go Buffs!
