Kelly joined the ²ÊÃñ±¦µä as an access coordinator in October 2023. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Recreation Administration with a concentration in Therapeutic Recreation from Texas State University. Prior to joining the University of Colorado, Kelly served as a recreational therapist at Imagine! Her role involved designing community-based programs and overseeing caseloads for children and adolescents with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Kelly is a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS). She is passionate about promoting inclusion and embraces a holistic, person-centered approach in her work. Kelly’s areas of interest include inclusive recreation/leisure, self-advocacy and wellness. Outside the office, she enjoys being in nature, often accompanied by her dog, Queen, traveling and expressing her creative side. Kelly is excited to start her journey as a Buff!
