Access+: An Inclusive Center for Students with Disabilities
Our vision is to create a universally designed campus where students with disabilities feel empowered, connected and supported. We aim to be a model of inclusivity and accessibility, offering a flexible and welcoming space for relaxation, study and socialization. Through collaborative programming and innovative resources, Access+ enriches the academic and social lives of students, fostering a sense of belonging and achievement.
Access+ features
- Adjustable, comfortable and flexible seating arrangements for relaxation and/or individual/collaborative study sessions.
- Sensory-friendly lighting and equipment to create a calming and supportive environment.
- Stress reduction activities and items, such as fidget toys and slime kits.
- Study tools, such as timers and reading strips/bookmarks, to help with concentration and productivity.

Presentations and workshops
Learn about a variety of topics, like the process of registering for accommodations, effective communication about disabilities and strategies for developing and refining academic and personal skills. Check out this semester's workshops.

Engage in self-care activities, learn about campus resources and build community. Learn about this semester's events to participate in an activity and have a one-on-one conversation with an emotional wellness peer educator to create a personalized self-care plan.
