The Fulbright program sends 800 U.S. faculty members and professionals abroad each year and is intended for candidates who wish to conduct research, teach or undertake a combination of both at an academic institution of their choice in a host country. Fellows lecture and conduct research in a wide variety of academic and professional fields. ²ÊÃñ±¦µä has had more than 100 Fulbright fellows since 1982. Pat Kociolek heads to Szczecin, Poland to continue research on algal biofuels, diatomes and phylogenetic bioprospecting.
