2020 Scholarship Celebration celebrates and honors our students and supporters
On Oct. 20, around 100 faculty, staff, donors, and students and their families gathered virtually to honor scholarship and fellowship recipients and supporters at the 2020 School of Education Scholarship Celebration. While we missed the opportunity to gather our student scholarship awardees and donors in person, we are grateful that we could gather virtually to celebrate together.
The need for creatively transforming education and authentically supporting our students and educators could not be more important in these challenge times. We are thankful for the dedication of our donors, whose generosity makes the future a bit brighter for our students and by extension their students and communities. We hope you will find time to remind yourselves of the incredible talent in our school and the possibilities for a future filled with the hope and joy that they represent.
"It has become a cliche to say that 'we are all in this together,' but on days like today, I am reminded that our community is making a difference together," said Dean Kathy Schultz at the celebration.
