Foodie Tuesday is a weekly event organized by Engineering Connections that provides food and opportunities for first-year engineering students to connect with their peers, staff and campus departments!

For our first event, we’ll be serving up Cosmos pizza. Stop by and get to know the Engineering Connections staff! Gluten-free and vegan options will be available.  

Thursday, Sept. 5. 3-6 p.m., Herbst Plaza (courtyard between the Engineering Center & Regent Drive)
During Immersion, engineering clubs and organizations set up interactive tables to showcase their unique projects, innovations and activities. It's an opportunity to discover new passions, connect with like-minded peers, and get involved in exciting, real-world engineering challenges!

Join Dean Keith Molenaar and college leadership on Main Campus or East Campus for a sweet treat to kick off the fall semester! Gluten-free snack options are also available.

The Engineering Leadership Program is hosting a conversation with Brendan McCord, founder and chair of the Cosmos Institute, a non-profit fostering a network of thinkers and builders focused on advancing human flourishing in the AI era.

Interested in sharing your talents in a fun and laid-back environment? Here’s your chance! Whether you’re into music, poetry, dance or comedy, all are welcome! Your performance can range from 1-5 minutes, depending on number of acts. to get on the schedule!

Engineering Peer Advisors are knowledgeable, trained and friendly engineering students who can assist you with everything from deciding what major is right for you, customizing your college experience, discovering student societies and organizations, tips on talking with faculty, and much more! Visit the Engineering Peer Advisors webpage for in-person and virtual opportunities to connect. 

Teaching staff and tutors are available right in Will Vill to assist in your applied math and computer science homework and questions! The Academic Help Room in Will Vill East (room E103, right across from the front desk) hosts hours each week to assist you: 

• Applied Math: Sundays through Thursdays, 5-9 p.m.
  Hours will begin on Wednesday, Aug. 28. Closed on Sunday, Sept. 1. 
• Computer Science: Sundays, 1-5 p.m.
  Hours begin on Sept. 8. There will also be midterm review session hours on Tuesdays from 1-5 p.m. on Oct. 1, Oct. 22 and Nov. 12. 

The Academic Help Room is open to any student enrolled in CSCI and APPM courses!
