The Marketing and Communications team is looking for an intern to assist in building a complete marketing and communications campaign, from concepting and goal-setting to production, deployment, and analysis. During this internship, the intern will acquire hands-on experience with widely used content management systems and marketing software, including Drupal (website platform), Emma (email), Sprout Social (social media), Basecamp (project management), Canva/Adobe Creative Suite/CapCut (graphic design and video editing), and more. The intern will have the opportunity to build fundamental knowledge of creating accessible content, become embedded in the marketing production process, build a portfolio of tangible marketing collateral demonstrating transferable skills, and work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.Ìý

The Colorado Women’s Art Museum () is a non-profit organization with the mission to elevate, encourage and exhibit Colorado Women Visual Artists. With oversight from an ENVD faculty member, the intern will produce conceptual drawings for the planned spaces. These include exhibition space/s, curatorial exhibition preparatory lab, classroom and meeting space, temporary and permanent art storage, sculptural park, catering and offices. Future off-site storage space may also be employed to house what will be a growing collection.

In collaboration with the Museum’s Board of Directors, the intern will create storyboards to showcase the mood of the museum and its interior materiality.

The intern will employ LEED certification and biophilic design principles in the final design drawings, maquettes and 3D architectural renderings (as informed by the ENVD faculty member and Museum members.

We expected the intern to visit area museums and interview staff of those museums to gather important information on building usage, and wish lists of curatorial staff, visitors and board members. These will be group visits scheduled with CWAM board members.

The intern will work with a talented group of art professionals and gain experience in art exhibitions as well as the business side of the art industry.

This Multimodal intern positions will support the Multimodal Planning Branch of the Division of Transportation Development (DTD) at CDOT.Ìý These positions will participate in the development of materials that help implement ongoing planning projects of the CDOT Multimodal Planning Branch including but not limited to, Statewide and Regional Planning and public outreach activities.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES for the Multimodal Intern include the following but not limited to:

Development of materials and participation in activities to support implementation of the 2045 Statewide Transportation Plan and development of the 2050 Statewide Transportation Plan;

Assist in development and management of the CDOT accessible transportation planning webpages observing relevant Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) standards, and development of relevant infographics as needed;

Create materials such as maps, charts, diagrams, fact sheets, illustrations, handouts, website graphics, reports, and slide decks-that make planning concepts resonate with non-technical audiences;Ìý

Assist with converting and/or creating new web content to meet the State’s digital accessibility standards;

Support planning work as needed for the following branches: DTD Multimodal Planning, Freight Mobility and Safety, Innovative Mobility Office and the DTD Asset Management;
