Ivan Patino
ENVD Advisory Board

Ivan Patino is a highly motivated and capable designer originally from Bogota, Colombia. At the age of 12, Ivan moved to the United States with his family and later graduated from high school in Denver. Following graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and spent four years traveling the world aboard the USS Enterprise aircraft carrier. After completing his military service, Ivan returned to Denver and enrolled in the Environmental Design Program (ENVD) at ²ÊÃñ±¦µä, utilizing G.I. Bill benefits.Ìý

During his studies, Ivan earned the Designers Without Boundaries academic scholarship, which provided the opportunity for a semester-long internship at a small architecture firm. This experience led to a full-time position.Ìý

Since graduating in 2015, Ivan has worked on a variety of firms and projects ranging from large multifamily developments to commercial ventures. He currently works at Galloway & Company.Ìý

In addition to his role on the ENVD Student Advisory Board, Ivan serves as a board member for the Colorado NOMA (National Organization of Minority Architects) chapter. He is passionate about sustainable and innovative design, seeking to address societal challenges through creative architectural solutions. Ivan is deeply committed to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives, which are central to both his professional and community involvement.Ìý
