ENVS celebrates the close of 21-22 academic year with graduation ceremonies and festivities

The Department of Environmental studies celebrated theÌýaccomplishments of about 160 ENVS undergrad majors graduates, 45 Professional Master's graduates, and 5 research Master's and PhD graduates on Friday, May 6, 2022 with the ²ÊÃñ±¦µä ENVS commencement ceremony. The ceremony was the first to beÌýheld in-person since December 2019 on the ²ÊÃñ±¦µä campus in a big tent outside at the Jennie Smoly Caruthers Biotechnology Building’s West Lawn (3415 Colorado Avenue).

ENVS hosted a reception there immediately preceding the ceremony. TheÌýcommencement speaker,Ìý,Ìýwho is CEO and co-founder of Inclusive Journeys, and founder of Ecoinclusive StrategiesÌýhelped celebrate and inspire the many students to continue to diversify and open the field of environmental studies. Congratulations to the graduates and we look forward to seeing everyone back on campus in Fall 2022.Ìý
