INSTAAR and ENVS scientists co-chair NSF Planning Meeting on Ross Sea Marine Protected Area

INSTAAR scientist, Sharon Stammerjohn, and ²ÊÃñ±¦µä ENVS, Assistant ProfessorÌýCassandra Brooks, chaired an NSF funded Planning Meeting last week at SEEC on theÌý²ÊÃñ±¦µä's campus. The group of scientists and practitioners discussed a system-level research program in the Ross Sea, which surrounds Antarctica and is now home to the world's largest marine protected area (MPA). The research programÌýis being developed to support the Ross Sea Region MPA.
