I am a Visiting Instructor and Mellow Fellow at Fort Lewis College in Durango, CO for the 2019-2020 academic year in the sociology department. My dissertation focuses on decolonizing Native women's sexualities through a critique of enforced patriarchy and heterosexuality. I use a diverse range a methods, including qualitative interviews, Indigenous storytelling analysis, and Indigenous erotic art analysis. I also offer community workshops with Native women to share sexual knowledge and experiences in order to break the silence of sexuality within many Native communities.
