  • The marketing program develops students' analytic and decision-making skills in such areas as digital marketing, customer relationship management, advertising, market research, brand/product management, selling and sales management, distribution, relationship marketing, international marketing, marketing consumer products and services, and marketing nonprofit organizations.

  • The digital arts program explores the use and integration of new media technologies into art practices. Additionally, it offers a critical and collaborative art research environment where students investigate emerging art forms and media technologies that feed into their own evolving practice.

  • Information Science majors learn to collect, analyze and interpret many different information sources to understand our world. They study how we interact with all things digital, including software, devices and algorithms, and are able to create social and technological solutions that are truly engaging for those who use them, apply those solutions to real problems, and evaluate their effectiveness.   • Environmental product design takes cues and information from the disciplines of architecture, landscape architecture, urban design and product design and stewards project outcomes towards fostering a better, sustainable environment for all. These outcomes can be entrepreneurial, reproducible, of smaller scale and not necessarily site-specific.

  • The Business Minor introduces students to the fundamentals of business through classes in marketing, management, finance and accounting. In addition to these topics, students choose one of the five “track” options in which they’d like to further explore. Options include Innovation, Analytics, Entrepreneurship, Global Business or Real Estate.

  • The landscape architecture major teaches students to design environments in urban, rural and agricultural contexts at all scales. Students learn strategies to repair and strengthen ecological systems, create and restore habitats, manage stormwater, express cultural values, and support human health and well-being. This major encourages students to explore the cultural value of landscapes, to redefine how landscape architects can transform the urban fabric, and to design resilient, climate-responsive projects.

  • A Cinema Studies major helps students develop skills to analyze the art of film and moving images. The program provides knowledge on the history, methodology, aesthetic value, and production of cinematic storytelling.   • Architecture focuses on the design and development of the built environment. It encompasses broad topics of sites, programs, materiality, structural systems, modern technologies, human interconnectedness, and social interaction. This major endeavors to teach our students to be responsible citizens and stewards of aesthetic, ethical, social, economic and environmental concerns.

  • The minor in civil engineering exposes students to five sub-disciplines of civil engineering: construction engineering and management, environmental engineering, geotechnical engineering and geomechanics, structural engineering and structural mechanics, and water resource engineering and management.
