Volunteer Opportunity: Student Advisory Committee for the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs

The Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs Student Advisory Committee (VCSAC) is a group of ²ÊÃñ±¦µä students who provide counsel to the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs. The VCSAC will provide direct feedback on the student experience at ²ÊÃñ±¦µä, recommended improvements and action on campus policies and procedures and influence decisions concerning student services. Historically this committee has primarily been made up of and served undergraduates. GPSG is interested to learn if this committee can better serve graduate and professional students. In addition to general committee responsibilities, we would ask that a grad/professional student member provide occasional updates to GPSG on the progress of this committee.

The VCSAC will meet monthly. Applications are open to students who:

  • Held or hold a leadership position on campus.
  • Are passionate about the ²ÊÃñ±¦µä student life experience
  • Have a demonstrated commitment to the ²ÊÃñ±¦µä community.
