Event Funding
Planning to host a large or small-scale event? Events are on-campus activities which engage the broader ²ÊÃñ±¦µä community. Events should align with a student organization’s mission and demonstrate elements of education, outreach or community enrichment.
Common event needs are listed below, but funding is not restricted to these items. See event policies and how to plan an event for more information.

- Advertising materials to advertise the event, including:
- Posters
- Flyers
- Banners
- Costumes
- Decorations
- Equipment rental
- Event supplies
- Food for events
- Marketing
- On-campus
- Social media
- Payments for performers, speakers, lecturers
- Photo booth
- There is a photo booth available for rent from CSI Resource Center
- Props
- Security
- Space reservations
What cannot be funded
- Events not free and open to all ²ÊÃñ±¦µä students
- Fundraising for charities, non-profits, third parties and student organizations
- Reimbursements for purchases made prior to funding being approved
