International Student & Scholar Services (ISSS) will be closed Monday, July 3, 2023. The ²ÊÃñ±¦µä, including International Student & Scholar Services, will be closed on Tuesday, July 4, 2023 in observance of the holiday.
- Please plan accordingly and take care of university-related business including ISSS advising prior to the closure.
During the ISSS Closure
- If you are an international student or scholar and need to travel for a family/personal emergency abroad during the closure, please depart the U.S. when necessary and email ISSS regarding your situation. ISSS will communicate with you regarding re-entry documents via email once our office reopens. All necessary documentation for re-entry can be provided to you electronically when you are abroad.
- For urgent ISSS-related matters, email isss@colorado.edu. An ISSS staff member will respond to truly urgent matters prior to the resumption of ISSS services on July, 5, 2023.
- If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please go to the CAPS Emergency & Crisis Care website and scroll down for Additional Support Resources available 24/7.
- In case of an emergency, call 911 to reach the fire and police departments or for ambulance or rescue services.
ISSS will resume services on Wednesday, July 5, 2023.
- ISSS staff will respond to emails received during the closure in the order they were received once they return to work.
- Some ISSS staff may have taken additional vacation time around the Independence Day holiday and may take longer to respond.
