Provost Russ Moore announced today that he has asked Robert Shay to continue to serve as dean of the College of Music through December of 2020, while the now-extended search for a new dean takes place.听
鈥淒ean Shay has been leading the college with a steady hand, especially during this unsettling time, and I am grateful for his continued leadership throughout the fall,鈥� Moore said.
On听April 9, Provost Moore听announced an extension to the dean search听of the College of Music, with the goal of having a new dean named by the close of the fall 2020 semester.
