Recruiting activities

As a faculty member, you are a crucial partner in recruitment, and we encourage you to foster relationships within the community. The 񱦵 team is available to support you. Begin with the following resources:

Campus visits

If students are interested in visiting campus, please direct them to the options below. Registration is available on .

  • Tour of the Imig Music Building: Offered on weekdays—once daily during the summer and twice daily during the school year. Tours are led by current students and include a Q&A with admissions staff.
  • Music Day (fall) or Open House (spring): These events allow prospective students to live “a day in the life” of a College of Music student—from attending class to meeting current students and faculty.
  • Virtual info sessions: Offered via Zoom on select weekdays during the fall and spring semesters.
  • Audition days:Designed to serve as a visit experience with tours, info sessions, a student panel and more!
  • 1-on-1 with admissions:Students may with the Director of 񱦵orcontactundergraduate.music@colorado.eduto set up an appointment any time.
  • Trial lessons: Encouraged; arranged entirely at your discretion.

Graduate applicant lists (updated weekly)

This information will be updated weekly between September and December, and at least twice weekly between December and April. Please note that internal applicants (MM to DMA, MM to PhD, DMA to PhD) will not appear in these lists since their applications are managed separately from Slate.
