Carlos Romero joins the Oceans and Climate Lab for the summer of 2021 from , where he is majoring in . While in New York, Carlos has worked as a research assistant in geochemistry at the Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory (), and is currently an intern with Columbia's . Carlos' research during the summer of 2021, by way of the , focuses on changes in tropical precipitation with climate change. Carlos' research is jointly advised by Dr. Sara Sanchez, , and Dr. Kris Karnauskas.
