Alison Jaggar Elected to American Academy of Arts and Sciences
Professor has been elected to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. The Academy is one of the oldest learned societies in the US. Its 4,900 Fellows and 600 Foreign Honorary Members include many of the most accomplished scholars and practitioners worldwide. With her election, Professor Jaggar joins the company of distinguished philosophers such as Stephen Darwall, Harry Frankfurt, Sally Haslanger, Christine Korsgaard, Thomas Nagel, and Martha Nussbaum, to name just a few.
