*Please note: If the course isn't offered in Spring 2025, you may be eligible to request it for Fall 2025 instead. If it's offered next fall, submit a course reservation form during that semester's course reservation period.

Students who've graduated from a degree program aren't allowed to take additional courses in that program; therefore, we've placed you in a nondegree program for fall semester. You're still enrolled in your classes.

You will, however, appear on the class roster and have access to the online class materials until waitlists are canceled.

Attend the first class meeting and tell the instructor you're on the waitlist. They may be able to advise you on your chances of being enrolled from the waitlist and whether you should continue to attend the class meetings.

What Happens Next

If a seat becomes available in your waitlisted class:

Between now and when automatic waitlist enrollment ends, the next eligible waitlisted student will be enrolled automatically. If you’re enrolled automatically, you’ll receive an email confirmation within 24 hours.
After automatic waitlist enrollment ends, contact the department offering the class to see if their policies allow them to enroll you manually.

After waitlists are canceled, if you still aren't enrolled, you'll lose access to the class's online materials and be removed from the class roster. However, you may be eligible to use course reservation the next time it's offered to guarantee yourself a seat.

What Happens Next

If a seat becomes available in your waitlisted class:

Between Sept. 5 and 15, contact the department offering the class to see if their policies allow them to enroll you manually.

On Monday, Sept. 16, waitlists are canceled. If you still aren't enrolled, you'll lose access to the class's online materials and be removed from the class roster. However, you may be eligible to use course reservation the next time it's offered to guarantee yourself a seat.

As a continuing graduate student, you’re able to register now. Registration remains open through open enrollment, which begins Monday, Aug. 19, 2024.

Working on Your Thesis or Dissertation?

If you’re a master’s or doctoral student working only on your thesis or dissertation, we encourage you to reach out to your faculty advisor to establish a plan for your thesis/dissertation work during the fall semester.

Registration is open for Fall 2024, but it doesn't look like you've enrolled in classes yet. For the best chance to get the classes you want, we encourage you to register as soon as possible.

Registration remains open through Thursday, June 13 and then reopens Monday, August 19, 2024, for open enrollment. You won’t be able to add or edit your classes between Friday, June 14 and Sunday, Aug. 18. Your enrollment status may affect your eligibility for housing, tuition remission, health insurance, financial aid, loan deferment status, purchasing a CU Sports Pass and more. If you're considering dropping below full-time status, contact the applicable offices to find out how this change could affect you.
