Professor Gorman is an expert in modeling and measuring coordination dynamics in human and human-machine teams in The Polytechnic School. His thriving research portfolio includes psychology topics, investigating human and artificial intelligence dynamics and human-machine teaming for space-based missions. His research has been funded by the National Science Foundation, the Office of Naval Research, the Air Force Research Laboratory, the Air Force Office of Scientific Research and the U.S. Department of Education, among others.
