DoD Multidisciplinary University Research Initiative (MURI) Information Session

The Research & Innovation Office (RIO) invites DoD-funded basic researchers to a virtual information session on the Department of Defense’s (DoD) (MURI) program. The MURI program focuses on multidisciplinary research efforts where more than one traditional discipline interacts to provide rapid advances in scientific areas of interest to the DoD. is a list of last year's awardees.

The virtual session will feature defense experts from Lewis-Burke Associates, Reed Skaggs, Ben Kallen and Emily Durham, as well as Senior Policy Advisor, Tom Russell, who served as Director for AFOSR, ARL and the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Army Research and Technology. RIO’s National Security Faculty Director, Iain Boyd, will participate as well. The panel will offer a general overview of the program structure and key strategies for success. There will be time for Q&A at the end of the webinar.
