Anastasia “Theo” Curtis Awarded the 2013 Jen Hlavacek Award on Religion and Society

Ms. Curtis who is graduating this spring with a minor in the Department of Religious Studies, has been awarded the 2013 Jen Hlavacek Award on Religion and Society from the Department of Sociology at the University of Colorado.  Ms. Curtis will be a master’s student in the Department of Religious Studies this coming fall.

This prize was awarded in recognition for a research paper on the topic of free will that she submitted as part of her coursework in Professor Brian Catlos’ class: RLST 3000, Christian Traditions, in fall 2012. The paper received one of the four A+s in an extremely strong cohort of over 100 students.
