Welcome to the fascinating world of FCR 鈥撀爁ossils, crystals, and rocks! Do you know how lucky we are to live in Colorado? Amid our state鈥檚 natural beauty are some of the world鈥檚 best locations for discovering fossils, minerals, and even gold! So, let's dig a little deeper to develop a greater understanding of minerals as building blocks of rocks. We won't be petrified when learning how fossils are formed in different ways and under a variety of conditions. And to be crystal clear we will be making our very own. If you join聽this gem of a class, we're sure to have a rockin' good time!

What to Bring:聽

  • Backpack for carrying personal items and any class materials they will be taking home.聽
  • Filled water bottle.
  • 2 or more聽snacks, depending on the child's needs.
  • Lunch that does not require refrigeration.
  • All programs spend a portion of each session outside. Please send your child with clothing appropriate for the weather (jacket, sweatshirt and/or rain jacket).
  • OPTIONAL:聽A mask or any additional Personal Protective Equipment the child will be utilizing.

鈥�Grade Policy:聽Careful consideration is used to determine grade levels for all camps and classes. To provide the highest quality experience for all students, it is necessary to adhere to the specified grade range for this program.

Cancellation and Transfer Policy:聽Science Discovery has designed its school year cancellation policy to minimize the number of class聽spots that are unused due to last-minute cancellations. Cancellations made more than 15聽days prior to the start of the class will incur a $35 administrative fee. No聽refunds will be given for cancellations made within 15 days of the start of the class. In the event that a class聽is cancelled by Science Discovery, registrants will receive a full refund.聽Transfer requests made up to 15 days prior to the start of a class will incur a $15聽administrative聽fee. Transfer requests made within 15聽days of the the start of a class will incur a $35 administrative fee.
