Sukuan came to CU through the聽聽program and devoted his PhD to studying the South American marsh pitcher plants (Heliamphora, Sarraceniaceae). He is now splitting his time between teaching at Red Rocks and continuing his molecular evolution research as聽a postdoc with at CSU.
