Stay organized in a hybrid work environment with OIT’s new guide
Earlier this summer, the Office of Information Technology (OIT) rolled out recommendations on how to manage new approaches to a variety of tools, equipment, formats and more to help the ²ÊÃñ±¦µä community adjust to working in person and remotely during the academic year.
OIT worked with campus departments to develop the guidance by listening to what they had to say about the issues that sprang up while people worked remotely.
Some of the recommendations are straightforward suggestions based on industry best practices and services supported by OIT. Others are more flexible suggestions that rely on departmental development of standards and norms as appropriate.
OIT will update the recommendations over time as new needs are discovered and addressed and will invite feedback from the university’s employee community.
Human Resources also offers extensive remote/alternate work resources, including a toolkit and more.
