Health Promotion Updates!

Health Promotion provides outreach and education on a variety of health topics to help those on campusÌýmake informed decisions about their health and well-being.

The Collegiate Recovery Community (CRC) has resources for CU staff.

  • CRC Staff are available to consult about how to support people in recovery or those that are interested/seeking recovery. Call (303-492-9642), email (cucrc@colorado.edu) or visit the office in UMC 411.
  • ÌýStaff are invited to Acudetox every other Tuesday from 3 – 4:30 pm in UMC 411, beginning 8/23. Kim Stephens, a nationally certified acupuncturist, is offering the NADA protocol. This treatment has a significant calming effect on the nervous system, helping to reduce stress, anxiety, depression, and pain. The NADA protocol is a nationally recognized treatment for addiction, PTSD, and trauma. Here is the full CRC meeting schedule.Ìý

Questions about COVID-19?
Free masks and at-home antigen test kits are available on campus. Masks and tests may be picked up between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. on weekdays at the reception desks in the UMC, C4C, and CASE building and at the distribution site at SEEC (follow directional signs from the loading dock). At-home antigen test kits are also available in the Wardenburg Health Center, office 346. Isolation and quarantine information is available for campus.
