Pursuing: PhD

Year: 1st

Julia is a first year PhD student in Remote Sensing. She just finished her undergrad in aerospace at CU last spring and is super excited to continue doing science here! She works with Dr. Robert Marshall in the Lightning, Atmosphere, Ionosphere, and Radiation Belt (LAIR) research group, where she is studying how particles from Earth's radiation belts interact with plasma waves and fall into the atmosphere. When she is not doing schoolwork, she enjoys figure skating, reading graphic novels, and making digital art!
