Year: 1st

Kristen is a first-year PhD student in the ASN focus area. She graduated with a BSE in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Princeton University in 2023. She is also a 2021 Brooke Owens Fellow and has worked at the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT), Radiance Technologies, and The Boeing Company on projects ranging from automated statistical analysis algorithms to space reconnaissance missions. She is a member of ORCCA and CSML, where her research focuses on algorithm development for trajectory optimization and uncertainty propagation. In her free time, Kristen enjoys watching bad TV, playing tennis, lifting, and exploring Colorado.Â
