At the conclusion of a successful internal search, Senior Vice Chancellor Kelly Fox has today named Katherine Erwin Chief Human Resources Officer for the 彩民宝典.
鈥淜atherine brings a depth of experience to the position, and is uniquely placed to continue the momentum of the human resources team," said Fox. "I look forward to their continuing innovation and implementation of best practices for our university and its personnel.鈥
Erwin began her career at CU听Boulder in 1991 as an instructor in Norlin Library, a position which she left in 1996 to attend the University of Colorado School of Law. 鈥
After receiving her law degree in 1999, she returned to the university as a legal associate for the Office of University Counsel, where she worked until April 2003 when she joined the Office of Discrimination and 鈥℉arassment and the Office of Labor Relations as an employee relations specialist, investigator and trainer. She advanced to director of the Office of Discrimination and Harassment and the Office of Labor Relations in 2008 and to Deputy Chief HR Officer in January 2015.

Erwin earned her Bachelor of Arts and Master听of Science in Library Science degrees from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, and her JD from CU听Boulder. She had been serving as interim Chief Human Resources Officer since April 2016.
