This past month more than 150 managers, supervisors and HR liaisons have attended a 45-minute, in-person briefing where Human Resources-Organizational and Employee Development presented an overview of a new, comprehensive year-long onboarding program for new employees.
The goals of the program are to help new employees reach higher levels of productivity faster; to understand what it means to work in an institution of higher education; become knowledgeable of the organizational structure, governance, initiatives and policies of the campus and the CU System; and come to know the history, values, and institutional excellence that is .
The briefings focus on components of the new program, and the roles and responsibilities supervisors have when bringing on new employees.
Additional briefings will take place in October:
- Tuesday, Oct. 4, 9 to 9:45 a.m.
- Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2 to 2:45 p.m.
- Wednesday, Oct. 5, 3 to 3:45 p.m.
- Thursday, Oct. 6, 9 to 9:45 a.m.
