What makes Finland great for education, research and innovation? On Friday, April 28, the Finnish ambassador to the United States Kirsti Kauppi will give a public talk on the ²ÊÃñ±¦µä campus to discuss.

KauppiÌýbecame ambassador of FinlandÌýin September 2015, after several years serving as political director at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs in Helsinki.

She also has over 30 years of experience in foreign service, including service in Finland's EU mission in Brussels and Finnish embassies in Vienna, Berlin and Bangkok. In addition to her native Finnish, Kauppi is fluent in English, Swedish, German and French.
