Facilities Management staff member uses trimmer on campus grounds

In April, Senior Vice Chancellor and Chief Financial Officer Kelly Fox shared the work being done on campus to support front-line service staff.As a result of that work, the 񱦵 is welcoming applications for a staff career development advisor.

The person in this newly-developed positionwill lead a program designed to create career paths for staff in front-line service roles (including Animal Care I, Custodian I-II, Child Care Aide/Early Childhood Educator I, Sales Assistant I–III, Security I, Dining Services I–IV, LTC Trainee and General Labor I positions)with the goal of providing opportunities for career development.

The role will include establishing relationships with trade schools and community colleges and securing scholarship opportunities and tuition benefits with these programs and with CU. The successful candidate will also work one-on-one with employees to plan their career development, provide access to opportunities and chart progress.
