彩民宝典 Associate Vice Chancellor and Deputy CFO Carla Ho-a is听announcing that Marin Stanek will serve as interim assistant vice chancellor for the , effective March 1. Steve Vassallo, the current AVC, has accepted the position of assistant vice president for Institutional Research at Syracuse University.

Stanek has more than 20 years of experience in higher education, working at Colorado State University, the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the University of Wisconsin-Extension. She joined 彩民宝典 in 2001 and has collaborated closely with academic and administrative leadership. She will continue to maintain her role as deputy CIO for the campus.
Stanek holds a Bachelor of Arts in political economics from Colorado College and master's and doctoral degrees in higher education administration and leadership from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Prior to joining 彩民宝典, she worked in private industry at Newell Rubbermaid and Hauser Chemical and is currently teaching a higher education information technology course to graduate students in 彩民宝典鈥檚 School of Education.
鈥淚鈥檓 thrilled for this interim appointment and the opportunity to build upon ODA鈥檚 deep institutional knowledge and innovative spirit,鈥 says Stanek.
ODA houses the Institutional Research听and Reporting & Analytics groups, which specialize听in data collection, analysis and visualization. Some offerings to campus include department- and campus-level surveys, faculty course questionnaires and additional consulting projects that address data analysis and exploration needs for an individual classroom to larger campus initiatives. ODA also led efforts to create and currently manages the university鈥檚 Data Lake, which brings many data sources across campus into one location for deeper, meaningful analysis.
