This week brings a grad student social, DIY macrame, the Inclusive Sports Summit, a networking workshop, Off-Campus Housing Fair, AAPI appetizer hour, free screening of Ghostbusters: Afterlife and more.

Monday, Feb. 14

   2–3 p.m.    UMC, North Dining Room
Connect with other Buffs while you enjoy some sweets and fresh strawberries. I Love Mondays is a space to learn about campus departments, student organizations and events to help you become more connected on campus. 


Tuesday, Feb. 15

   2–3 p.m.    Virtual
Learn about networking basics, how to network in a genuine way and how to take networking to the next level. to attend.

   5–7 p.m.    UMC 330
Let your creativity shine at DIY Night! This is a great event to meet others while participating in a fun craft project. This week's craft is making your very own macrame keychain! Space is limited, and registration closes on Feb. 14. Make sure to RSVP to be part of this fun event!


Wednesday, Feb. 16

   8:50 a.m.–4:50 p.m.      and Zoom
Be part of the fifth annual Inclusive Sport Summit. This year’s theme is “Lead like a champion: Paving the way to an equitable playing field.” The summit will focus on topics of equity in different athletic disciplines, strategies to promote equity on campus and the greater community, skills to build techniques for addressing inequities and more! to attend.

Are you looking for a place to live for the summer or even next year? Then attend the Off-Campus Housing Fair to meet with off-campus property managers and landlords, and learn more about what properties are available. Get tips for how to live off campus and enjoy some free food and giveaway prices while you’re there!

Thursday, Feb. 17

Attention Asian American Pacific Islander community: The Center for Inclusion and Social Change and the Office of Precollege Outreach and Engagement are hosting a casual, reconnecting appetizer hour. Welcome 2022 with community and tasty snacks, and reconnect with each other.


Friday, Feb. 18

Grab a couple of friends and get ready to have a great night at The Connection! Enjoy the fun of bowling with black lights, colored lane lights and color pins. It’s the only extreme bowling you’ll find in Boulder!

   12:15–12:45 p.m.    CU Art Museum or Zoom
Come learn about a work of art and then participate in a related mindfulness practice. Join in the museum galleries in person or virtually via Zoom. The powerful, guided meditation can undo stress, soothe the nervous system and help you feel relaxed and revitalized. All are welcome. if you plan to attend virtually.

Come watch a movie on the big screen with Program Council. Tonight’s film is Ghostbusters: Afterlife. There will be free popcorn, and the event is open to all students and guests. Doors open at 7:30 p.m.; the film begins at 8 p.m.

Join Alex, a certified personal trainer, for a strength training class and Rec Center tour to help you navigate fitness spaces on campus. Alex will discuss his own experiences with fitness as a trans man, share tips on navigating spaces and create a supportive community for LGBTQ+ students.

The Ignite Conference is an annual one-day conference-style social justice program that serves as a learning and networking opportunity for student leaders across 񱦵’s campus. This year’s theme focuses on empowering student leaders to rise above adversity, engage in social movements and lead others in positive social change in order to transform the 񱦵 community and beyond.
