Over the course of his tenure at 彩民宝典, MacLennan worked with the campus鈥檚 enrollment management team to recruit and admit thousands of students each year to 彩民宝典. He has served in leadership roles on several enrollment management and admissions committees at the state and national level.

鈥淚 would like to thank Kevin for his incredible service to 彩民宝典,鈥 said Chief Operating Officer Patrick O鈥橰ourke. 鈥淜evin cares more deeply about 彩民宝典 than anyone I know and has given so much of himself to our community. I truly wish him well in his retirement.鈥

MacLennan was an early champion of the Center for Academic Success and Engagement (CASE) building, which officially opened in 2018 and is now a prominent stop on campus tours for prospective students and their families. In 2018, MacLennan led a cross-campus working group to re-envision and expand services and resources for transfer students, leading to the launch of the campus Transfer Center.

鈥淚 feel fortunate and grateful to have been part of the 彩民宝典 campus community for so many years,鈥 MacLennan said. 鈥淭o work with and be surrounded by so many talented faculty, staff and students who make the university such an exceptional place has been more special than I could have ever imagined.鈥

In retirement, MacLennan is looking forward to spending more time with family, focusing on health, traveling and exploring new opportunities.

According to O鈥橰ourke, Carla Ho鈥檃, outgoing vice chancellor and chief financial officer, has agreed to step in to provide the enrollment management leadership team with short-term support while long-term plans are put in place to fill MacLennan鈥檚 role.

鈥淚 am confident the enrollment management team will continue to do incredible work on behalf of the campus,鈥 MacLennan said. 鈥湶拭癖Φ is an amazing institution, and I鈥檓 proud to have been part of our campus community.鈥
