The Boulder Police Department (BPD) is investigating an incident that occurred at about 1:30 this morning at the intersection of 13th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue in the University Hill neighborhood in Boulder.Ìý
During the incident, an armed suspect was shot by a BPD officer and taken to Boulder Community Hospital. No bystanders or officers were injured. Other suspects fled the scene.Ìý
BPD held a at 7 a.m. at 13th Street and College Avenue. The department issued a after the news conference, and ²ÊÃñ±¦µä is working to help amplify the information. There was no indication of any threat to campus. However, university officials understand the campus community wants to be kept informed of incidents nearby, such as in the University Hill neighborhood, where many students, faculty and staff reside.
